Tony - Apache Junction Continued
A couple of weeks into my new PC ownership I picked up a virus through an update pop up which slowed my PC.
Called Keith to look into the problem. He picked up the unit, brought it home, scanned and isolated the virus.
Surgically removed all the virus components and delivered the unit back. Again his rates for addressing this issue
were very low and to this date I haven’t had anymore issues with my PC. Oh! About my old store bought PC, I had
Keith upgrade the mother board with the same type on my custom with a dual core CPU which is basically the same
configuration as the custom. I’m using that PC as a secondary unit to serf the web and to be the guinea pig for new
viruses that I acquire. I still serf on my custom but not as much, with the main focus being stationary application
usage. It also gives me a guilt free conscious knowing that I didn’t contribute my old PC to a toxic landfill. Talking to
a tech like Keith also educates a person as to the option one has with their existing PC. I didn’t realize that I could
upgrade the OEM PC until Keith told me of that option.
Working with Keith on PC issues showed me that diagnosing problem can be easy or a very difficult ordeal. Keith’s
method of approach is a process of elimination starting from the simplest and graduating to the complex. Abnormal
behavior in performance issues can simply be diagnosed by Keith remotely for virus isolation and eradication.
Anything relating to hardware issues usually requires a visit. In extreme cases, Keith taking home the CPU may be
required to do further equipment tests. The turn around time is short, but rest assured that all problems obvious
and hidden will be taken care of. He’ll also set you up with anti virus tools which will help in preventing the problems
ever occurring again. “An ounce of prevention is worth more then a pond of cure” as they say. There are certain
professions that individuals rely on through life because of their reputation, sincerity, honesty and dedication.
Lawyers, doctors, mechanics, teachers, gardeners, etc…, and with the information technology in our future mist I
can safely add Keith & Tiffany of “Always There Computer Repair” to handle any and all my computing needs.
Thanks for all your help.
